What is expected out of you?
Accountable in all the activities of Oracle Apps DBA.
Participate in cloning, patching, point upgrades, performance tuning and in all Backup and recovery solutions.
Candidate must have an EBS upgrade experience, preferably from 12.1.x to 12.2.x
Responsible in troubleshooting of all application and database Issues.
Upgrade oracle applications and database as per the needs.
Ensuring SLA metrics are met.
Define best practices and enforce them; guide administrators in setting up environments and developments in standards.
Analyze, troubleshoot and provide alternative solutions to problems.
Accountable for documentation and preparing action plan for all activities.
Follow up with oracle support wherever necessary.
Responsible for delivering high quality solutions.
Able to interact with customer directly.
Accountable to work on multiple assignments.
Responsible for mentoring the trainees.
What should you possess?
Education qualification : Prefer B.E/B.Tech/M.Tech/MCA/M.Sc Computers
A minimum of 4-8 years of experience in Oracle Application DBA.
Hands-on Experience in EBS Skills such as RAC, RMAN and R12.2
Working knowledge on scripting is required.
Knowledge of other technologies (BI Apps, Hyperion, Agile etc.) is an added advantage.
Hands on experience in Cloning and Patching.
Experience in creating documentation to support analysis and implementation for all aspects of the Cloud Services.
Ability of talking to Customers, Onsite Co-coordinators, High Profile Business Users and Business Analysts.
Excellent Communication and Customer interaction skill are required.
Maintain high understanding of Dignity and Diversity in the workplace.
Flexible and mature approach with ability to work unsupervised.
Flexibility to travel and to take up assignments as per the needs of organization.
