Roles and Responsibilities

Hiring a Marketing Manager for a Publication company. This is a strategic role and would drive growth in India with focus on open access journals, companies new online research platform and new growth segments.
The Marketing Manager would be responsible to build Company brand in Open access research and drive open access revenue by attracting quality submissions and partnership with institutions, funders and policy makers across our OA solutions. This role will also support our business growth in Sub Saharan African region with focus on our solutions across researcher services.
Skill Set - Who has executed end to end projects (New Market Research, building relationships with educationist, government authorities, getting funding etc.)

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Build relationship/partnership with research funding agencies(Government and private both) and policy makers to establish Company Brand as market leader in Open Access Research and drive overall open access revenue in the India region.
  • Plan and implement integrated content campaigns across the different customer types (authors, researchers, societies, funders, policy makers, institutions) with objective to build company brand, drive partnership and quality open access submissions across our journals and Online platform in B2B and B2C segments.
  • Support regional business growth plans via various marketing tactics for our newly launched open access Online Platform including B2B leads, making client presentation and driving quality submissions.
  • Curate partnership events with research funders, Government bodies and institutions establishing Company Brand as market leader in open access research area.
  • Gather clear market understanding around Open Access Research via meetings with key Government officials, customer surveys, market research and competition intelligence.
  • Leverage power of digital marketing to connect with researcher community driving brand image of our open access solutions and driving quality open access submissions.
  • Engage with internal stakeholders within marketing team and across various departments with objective to work on joint opportunities and sharing regular market insights.
