Roles and Responsibilities
Partnerships is a new department that has been established in organisation AMESA to support managing the partner relationships and build in a sustainable governance structure to manager all our partners in the Africa, Middle East and South Asia. The focus of this function to manage and implement all partnership governances process from due diligence to completing NDAs and liaison with Contracting to ensure contracts and agreements are established with our partners. The governance also includes tracking all our partners across AMESA to enhance and continuously improve value driven engagements with our partners. Hence, one of the partnership mandates is to expand business and build a resilient revenue pipeline with partners in the regions. Partners are classified as channel partners/prime contractors, technology and 3rd part solution providers, hosting organization and resources and delivery companies.

Job Profile Summary
Responsible for driving the Partner Relationship Management Lifecycle with a primary focus on technology, health It and digital health vendors and potential partners who are channel resellers, technology 3rd party solutions, deliver/resources partners and hosting partners. To effectively execute the lifecycle commencing with selecting and validating vendors and potential partners to map their value proposition in an agile manner, recommending to organisation AMESA Senior Management including Product Lines owners the viability for partnership with organisation AMESA. Post onboarding of Partners, the role will continue to have responsibility to deepen the partner relationship to ensure derived value for all stakeholders.
Responsibilities
Essential Functions
Responsible for developing partnerships and alliances to implement and manage a broad range of strategic revenue generating initiatives with partners.
Supports leadership to manage partnerships to execute the partner governance framework with a primary focus on channel resellers and potential technology partners in AMESA.
Activities will be holistic and will include Partner due-diligence, evaluation and validation activities in conjunction with leadership alignment, onboarding activities, contracting support activities, performance management, conflict resolution and offboarding.
Support internal stakeholders to validate potential Partner capabilities for accessing new markets, collaborative innovative, solution co-creation and implementation, integration, joint-collaboration and investment collaborations and similar engagements in emerging technology initiatives as per the business requirements.
Execute agile partner governance lifecycle management process including partner evaluation and due-diligence, presales engagement and requirements, post contract award, to ensure value proposition is being derived.
Reduce time to onboard a Partner and commence Partnership.
Acting as a change agent to promote organisation transformation principles (Bolder, Smarter, Leaner) to be adopted and implemented as best-practices in the Strategic alliances & Partnership management function.
Drive the multiplier effect for organisation AMESA and Partners from AMESA and globally with proactive, value-add and targeted engagement focusing on expanding revenue pipeline.
Engage with Group Stakeholders and create network to ensure value proposition updates are provided and multiplier effect is driven forward.
Continuously liaise with internal stakeholders to identify and define business requirements and partnership requirements.
Managing the skills and competency development of the vendor registration & management staff, including training development and knowledge management capabilities.
Creating a talent management process in coordination with HR to ensure that the right resources are in place.
Manage partners during and post partner onboarding to ensure alignment through management activities like continuous performance and revenue pipeline monitoring, evaluation and Incident management; and Provide reports to leadership on pre-set KPIs and identify areas for enhancement.
Screen the Partner through evaluation framework and conduct preliminary due diligence
Finalize & update the assessment criteria based on Partner s role, business expectations and propositions
Execute the registration & onboarding process of new partners
