You will join our REC department

As our new Mapping/Lidar Processing Analyst you will be part of of a world class, innovation driven engineering design centre owned by an independent trust and its employees. REC is a highly sophisticated center of engineering excellence and based in our India head office in Gurgaon. Working in partnership with all our established offices globally, the Ramboll Engineering Centre (REC) is a centre for excellence in design by offering optimized solutions to the rest of the organization

Your key tasks and responsibilities will be:

• Will need to coordinate with project managers and/or engineers for RST/GIS works in a given project.
• Is responsible for technical correctness and timely delivery of the drawings and documents
• Exercises self-discipline and work ethics
• Respect and follow company policies and procedures
• Carry out self-checks of his/her works as per company policy

From the moment you join Ramboll, we will support your personal and professional development so that you grow with the company. This role is suitable for applicants who has in-depth knowledge on pre-processing of point cloud data. For this role, we believe your starting point is:

• B. Sc or M.Sc. surveying/geospatial science/GIS/Remote sensing is preferred. Diploma in Civil Engineering or ITI Trained Professional with minimum 4-7 years as a Mapping/Lidar Processing Analyst may be considered as well.
• Good/Strong knowledge of MicroStation/AutoCAD, Terrasolid specifically TerraMatch, Terraphoto.
• Input Data Validation, Data Calibration and Registration
• Strong knowledge on Bore sight Angle correction
• Perform any LiDAR pre and post processing tasks allocated as per project requirements
• Deep Knowledge of Elevation System Adjustment and Tie line functionalities.
• Preparation of Macros for various task such as Point Density, Separation of Flight lines and so on.
• Quality Control report preparation of the post processed data Exp in - Microstation, Terrasolid products, Global Mapper.
• Check and Perform Camera calibration and misalignment solutions.
• Knowledge of Microsoft applications.
• Good level of written and spoken English.

Optional:

• Automatic and manual LiDAR data classification
• Surface model creation from DTM/DEM
• 3D Vectorization and Modeling.
