Ramboll Energy is part of the Ramboll Group, a leading Scandinavian engineering company.
Ramboll Energys Field Development division consists of 700+ employees in several countries. We are currently in the process of strengthening our 3D CAD support team at our Chennai office which is just 1 part of a larger CAD support organisation servicing projects throughout the division and helping to consolidate Rambolls position as a leading engineering consultancy.
Department 3D CAD SYSTEMS
In 1992 Ramboll Energy successfully implemented its first 3D E&A design system. Today, 3D E&A tools are integral to all Rambolls projects.
The 3D CAD team comprises 6 multicultural full-time staff at 3 international locations. It combines the skills of highly experienced CAD administrators, software developers and IT technicians. Their combined knowledge and experience enables Ramboll to continue to operate and develop a multitude of 3D E&A design solutions while meeting ever more challenging project requirements.
We are looking to invite an experienced, energetic AVEVA professional to join our relaxed and informal working environment where team members work closely with one another to provide support for all our 3D systems including AVEVA PDMS and E3D. Our 3D CAD team members need to routinely adapt to the variety of local and international project configurations and E&A software combinations so a broad scope of experience will be highly valued.

Area of responsibility 1, 100 %
Your primary role will be to operate and maintain our Aveva Engineering services environment. You will be expected to manage, execute and develop administrative tasks for multiple engineering design projects:
Mandatory Skills:
- AVEVA Engineering set-up and administration.
- Progress reporting
- Datasheets & TAG Data
- AVEVA Unified Engineering.
- Engineering data integration with AVEVA E3D.
- Engineering data integration with AVEVA Electrical.
- Engineering data integration with AVEVA Diagrams/P&ID.
- Engineering data integration with AVEVA Instrumentation.
- Engineering data integration with 3rd party engineering solutions.
- Work experience with Digital Twin concepts.
- Provide administrative and frontline user support by phone, email, Skype or through the company service desk.
- User training and project execution manuals.
- Develop new functionalities within the tool in order to meet new needs.
- Knowledge of the AVEVA programming language (PML) .NET and SQL.
- Basic idea about SAP
Potentially some travel activity to our offices in Middle East and Denmark

Qualifications & Experience
- At least 5 years experience working with AVEVA Net or AVEVA Engineering development within the Petrochemical industry.
- In-depth, hands-on experience operating and programming AVEVA applications.
- Fluent verbally, written and reading English. Must be very clearly spoken.
- User knowledge of MS-Office applications such as Word, Access and Excel and Outlook.
- Experience with cloud based solutions would be advantageous but not required.
