Job Summary

Position: Senior Data Engineer

As a Senior Data Engineer at Qventus, you will be instrumental in developing and implementing new data solutions. Your role will involve designing, developing, and managing data pipelines to ensure the scalability, reliability, and efficiency of our data platform. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will unlock new features and drive innovation, ultimately improving the experiences of patients and doctors by integrating complex data sources and creating robust data transformations.

Key Responsibilities

  • End-to-End Data Workflows: Build, tune, and enhance data workflows to support data-driven decisions and product features, including designing data structures and scheduling data transformation pipelines.
  • Data Asset Management: Improve the definition and quality of our data assets by automating schema lifecycles and enhancing tools for data flow visibility and quality monitoring.
  • Optimization and Scaling: Optimize and scale existing pipelines, dashboards, and data science feature engineering to support Qventus's growth.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with data infrastructure and engineering teams to build and extend cross-platform ETL and reporting frameworks.

What We re Looking For

  • Data Modeling & Transformation: Proven experience in leading data modeling and transformation pipeline design for production services and data science/analytics needs (strong SQL and DBT experience preferred).
  • Modern Data Tools: Hands-on knowledge of modern data warehouses and ETL tools (Snowflake, Airflow) and experience with data visualization tools (Looker preferred).
  • Data Analysis: Ability to analyze data to identify deliverables, gaps, and inconsistencies to refine dataset requirements and standards.
  • Programming Skills: Proficiency in modern programming languages such as Python (preferred), Java, Go, or C++, with a commitment to high code quality.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Cross-Functional Communication: Strong communication skills to convey complex technical components to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Data Lake Experience: Practical experience with data lake/schema discovery systems and relevant technologies (e.g., Confluent/Kafka, Spark, Athena/Glue, DynamoDB).
  • AWS Familiarity: Familiarity with the AWS ecosystem (Lambda, RDS, Redshift).
  • Unstructured Data Handling: Experience working with unstructured data, especially using NLP tools to extract information from text.
  • Educational Background: Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Analytics, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Additional Information

  • Candidates are required to work from our NCR/Noida offices at least three days a week and maintain US-based timings that may extend to 12:30 AM IST.
  • Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a pre-employment background investigation and drug test.


Qualification :
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Analytics, or related field, or equivalent training/experience
