MB Technology team is looking for a motivated and passionate Data Warehouse & BI Engineer to be part of highly scalable multi-tiered real estate portal, applications and platforms to provide the best possible buying and selling experience for Magicbricks customers.

The person should be having a penchant for high quality, consistency, maintainability, efficiency, security and all the other things that make a software great.

Responsibilities:

• The focus of this role entails implementing / designing / supporting end to end business intelligence (BI) related framework / database design and/or creation. We encourage open source technologies in our IT infrastructure so solutions to be implemented should take leverage of open source tools and techniques wherever possible.
• Responsible for designing and implementing detailed data warehouse models and data mappings.
• Resolving any and all issues throughout the design / development lifecycle.
• Perform performance optimization and tuning on new and/or existing data warehouse implementations.
• Provide detailed documentation, end user training and knowledge-transfer.
• Develop and maintain expertise in advanced and/or emerging data warehouse and analytical information technologies such as Hadoop, in-memory analytics, data warehouse appliances, and data warehouse visualization.
• Provide strategic and tactical inputs with respect to data warehousing best practices.
• Provide thoughtful creative data profiling and integration recommendations.
• Ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Continue professional and technical growth through corporate and personnel initiatives.
• Takes pride in adding value to organizational goals

Requirements:

• A Bachelor s degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Information Science, or related field.
• 8 to 12 years of experience in the field of BI implementations.
• Must have experience of setting up data warehouse from scratch.
• Must of experience of handling large data warehouse setup.
• Practical experience using BI / ETL tool (Tableau, Pentaho, Informatica, Data Stage, Data Manager, MicroStrategy, Discoverer, Qlik, Cognos, SSIS or other).
• Working knowledge of modeling tools in addition to hands-on experience with business intelligence tools.
• Excellent data profiling abilities.
• Expert knowledge of SQL and related SQL procedure languages.
• Experience in managing data warehouse project and lifecycle initiatives.
• Experience working with MySQL, MariaDB, MongoDB, Cassandra, Teradata, Netezza, DB2 or Hadoop is desired.
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and oral/written communication skills.
