Devops Engineer Job in Quinbay

Technical Skill Set

• Successfully handled global customer setups, deployments, monitoring.
• Experience in Architecting and Developing DevOps enabled Automated solutions.
• Awareness with AWS, GCP, Azure, Datacenter and Hybrid Cloud infrastructure. If there are other, we would love to talk for sure.
• Understanding of automation practices throughout the development, build, and deployment phases of the application life-cycle
• Hands-on experience in developing CI/CD pipeline for on-prem and AWS cloud
• Hands-on experience in developing CI/CD pipeline(Jenkins, Bamboo, etc.) for on-prem and cloud(AWS, GCP, Azure, etc.)
• Extensive Experience on automation frameworks like Ansible/ Chef/ Terraform/ Consul/ Packer.
• Experience with Docker/Docker Swarm/ Kubernetes etc. is an added advantage.
• Experience with one or more Unix shell scripting languages (Bash, Python, Ruby, etc.)
• Experience including in managing Linux/Unix platforms
• Application server administration (Tomcat, JBoss, etc.),
• DNS, Linux system configuration and administration (CentOS, RedHat, etc.)
• Good exposure with monitoring tools geared towards user experience and deep diagnostics (Splunk, New Relic, AppDynamics, Prometheus, Grafana, etc.). If you have built your own. We would love to see it.
• Experience using an operational ticketing system to record changes and work history details such as RT, JIRA, OTRS or Service Now.
• Unix/Linux experience required

Qualification

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (or equivalent experience)

• Function well in a fast-paced, rapidly-changing environment.
• Speed up the environment setup & restore
• Drive efficiencies in engineering & Production Management
• Achieve CI/CD across the environment with automation engines.
• Work closely with development teams to ensure that platforms are designed with "operability" in mind. Manage SLA and Uptime in Production.
• Strong background in Linux/Unix Administration
