Description

We are seeking a talented Security Engineer to help build next generation Security Analytics product from ground-up.

Working with a team of engineers and architects, you will be responsible for prototyping, designing, developingcyber securityusecases for SaaS based Security Analytics product.

This is a great opportunity to be an integral part of a team building Qualys next generation Micro-Services based technology platform processing over a 100 million transactions and terabytes of data per day, leverageopen-sourcetechnologies, and work on challenging and business-impacting projects.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with key customers and design partners to understand theirrequirements.
• Suggest and implementsolutionsforimprovement.
• Tracking of all these requirements and existing processes, offer solutions for implementation and improvement.
• Work and support development team to implement these on product.

• Understand the requirement for any logs monitoring andproducerecommendcyber security use cases.
• Capable of interpreting the raw logs from Security devices and interpret them as to what activity is going on in the logs.
• Should be able to define/configure Cyber securityuse casesfor Number of Security devices available in Cyber security domainin differentplatformsfor different customer.
• Monitoring the detection and fine tuning of use cases conditions according.
• Enhance the use cases by doingadditionalenrichmentandcorrelation with cross data feeds.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors/Masters/Doctorate in Computer Science/ Information security/Cyber Security or equivalent
• 4+ years of experience in security domain.
• Strong analytical skills

• Well versed with SOC environments and familiar with SIEMs and formulating advance correlation use cases for SIEM / UEBA.
  Strong experience on Cyber Security solutions.
• Experience

• working with SIEMs - ArcSight,QRadar, Splunk,Securonix,etc
• creating policies and formulating advance correlation use cases for SIEM /UEBA
• Security Operations (SOC)

• Cyber Security
• Network Security
• Endpoint Security
• Strong experience on Security Tools like Firewall, Proxy, WAF, DLP, VPN and Mail Security.
