Job Summary

Location: Kochi India

Qualifications:

  • Masters in Human Resource Management OR
  • MBA in HR, with Graduation in any stream OR
  • PGD in Human Resource Management

Experience: Must have worked with SMB Software Products and Services Company in the position of talent Acquisition


Language Skills Required:

Fluency in verbal and written English communication skills is a must. Comfort with use of Hindi and Marathi will be useful.


Other Skills Required:

  • Excellent Communication skills.
  • Should be familiar with usage of Google Suite Look for emails, Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
  • Understanding of Internet Usage & Social media for Talent acquisition strategies
  • Should have an understanding of sourcing resumes from Naukri, Linkedin, Monster
  • Should have proven skills in selling the company to candidates on phone or zoom calls
  • Focused enough to ensure high candidate turn-up rate for interviews with high engagement levels with the candidates
  • Negotiate and represent the company favorably to attract the best talent
  • Should be able to create detailed job description documents as per inputs from the hiring managers
  • Should be able to identify risks to hiring schedules in advance and take mitigation actions proactively

Job Description:

As Talent Acquisition Specialist your primary job will include:

  • Create and execute recruitment plans
  • Hire the right fit candidates
  • Manage attrition risks by proactively keeping a pool of candidates
  • Candidate reference and background checks
  • Assist with new employee onboarding, orientation and documentation

Responsibilities

Your direct responsibilities will include :

  • Defining the Job Description while working closely with the technical and management team.
  • Create a recruitment plan with clear dates of closing the position.
  • Positioning Pragmatic to potential job seekers; either through a telephone interview or a face to face meeting, you are responsible for getting people excited about Pragmatic
  • Creating amazing experiences. You will make sure that potential candidates are meeting the right interviewers and that we are making sure that they are looked after at every stage of the process.
  • Assessing the candidates upfront and making sure they are not a risk to the organization. Making sure that they are having the right attitude and looking to work with Pragmatic on a long term.
  • Checking the behaviour of potential candidates on social media before they are considered. Also, monitor the social media activity of current employees and proactively try to provision hiring for any attrition.
  • Very often you'll be the first person that someone talks to from us, so you need to be great at understanding their motivation and suitability in our culture.
  • Making sure that we are creating an inclusive sourcing strategy that takes extraordinary steps to approach people from diverse backgrounds
  • Do reference checks individually or through Third party organizations to make sure the right candidates are hired.
  • Work with the HR Manager to roll out offers and be a strong negotiator.
  • Help the HR Manager in the new employee induction process and the necessary documentation for onboarding.
