Job Summary

Responsibilities

  • Drives all aspects of large, cross-functional programs and feature areas related to SaaS platform
  • Oversees aspects of multiple programs including scoping requirements, timelines, and resource allocations
  • Helps define product, functional, and reporting requirements, often taking the lead to define appropriate process for definition and sign-off of key requirements fitting the program and team
  • Drives cross-functional efforts across Engineering and QA teams, as well as other cross-functional teams including Support, Services, Customer Success, Infrastructure, Sales, Legal, Finance, Operations, and other organizations both within and outside of PowerSchool
  • Responsible for discovering synergies and patterns across interdependent organizations
  • Responsible for identifying unique ways to use process, people, and tools to be able to meet a streamlined delivery objective
  • Must be able to quickly turn around short-term workarounds to deliver on immediate needs while in parallel developing long-term solutions
  • Continuously look for opportunities and improve how programs are run and executed

Qualifications include:

  • Bachelor s degree in computer science or related technology field
  • Master s degree in business or technology a plus
  • Minimum 5 years of program/project management experience shipping software, including tracking software delivery process using tools and metrics
  • Prior program or service management experience
  • Experience working across all divisions of a software company (Support, Services, Engineering, Security, Product, Finance, and Sales)
  • Understanding of Hosting Operations
  • Willingness to work diverse hours of operation
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must have strong organizational skills to handle a heavy workload and multiple projects with frequent interruptions and schedule changes
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
  • Strong attention to detail and time management
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Strong customer service, presentation, and conflict resolution skills
  • Able to be successful with ambiguity, solving the customer issues working across functional lines

Physical Requirements

Lifting/Carrying:

  • Occasionally carrying items weighing under 10 lbs.
  • Rarely carrying items weighing between 11-20 lbs.

  • Occasionally reaching over shoulder, overhead and reaching outward
  • Occasionally bending
  • Frequently walking normal surfaces
  • Constant sitting

Other:

  • Constant use of keyboard, fine dexterity, grasping, holding
  • Constant repetitive motion hands
