Job Summary

The Role: Associate Technical Program Manager

You will play a pivotal role in managing high-mix, low-volume projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and meet customer requirements. You will act as a liaison between Fictiv's builders (customers) and manufacturing partners.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage projects from start to finish, ensuring adherence to scope, budget, and timeline.
  • Mitigate risks and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Assign work orders to qualified manufacturing partners based on project requirements.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and answer questions from manufacturers.
  • Manage change orders and implement modifications while minimizing risks.
  • Identify areas for improvement and drive workflow enhancements.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering with 3-5 years of experience in hardware/manufacturing (OEM or contract manufacturing preferred).
  • Strong team orientation and excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Experience working in a night shift environment.
  • Fluency in English and experience in multicultural environments.
  • Experience with at least 3 of the following manufacturing processes:
    • 3D Printing (Mandatory)
    • CNC Machining (Mandatory)
    • Rapid Tooling (Preferred)
    • Injection Molding (Preferred)
    • Urethane Casting (Preferred)
    • Sheet Metal Fabrication (Preferred)
  • Proven project management skills in scope, timing, and quality management.
  • Understanding of quality management, testing, and logistics.
  • Experience managing project requirements, stakeholder expectations, and communication.
  • Experience with low-volume parts and prototypes (preferred).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a results-oriented mindset.
  • Strong sense of urgency and ability to manage tight deadlines.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and a focus on documentation.
  • Data-driven decision making and a self-starting work style.
  • Adaptability and ability to work effectively with ambiguous processes.
  • Ability to improve the reliability and flexibility of existing systems.

Qualification :
Bachelors degree in engineering and 3-5 years equivalent engineering related work experience in hardware / manufacturing as an OEM or, ideally, as a contract manufacturer.
