The Role: A skilled IT System Administrator to join our team and take responsibilities for the management and maintenance of our Plivo IT Infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, exceptional problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach to ensuring the stability and security of our systems. Roles & Responsibilities: Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software components of the Plivo IT system. Monitor system performance and security to ensure optimal operation and identify potential vulnerabilities or issues. Perform routine maintenance tasks such as updating system patches, and system backup. Troubleshoot and resolve hardware , software and network related problems. Administer user accounts, permissions, and access rights to various systems and applications. Collaborate with IT team members to design and implement system improvements and upgrades. Maintain documentation of system configuration, procedures, and troubleshooting steps. Provide technical support to end users, addressing their IT related issues and concerns. Must exhibit strong security and confidentiality practices with systems that handle sensitive data. Respond to and resolve help desk requests. Use standard ITIL methodology to manage the service request, incident management and change management using Jira tool. Monitor the system daily and respond immediately to security or usability concerns. Skills Required: Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or any related field, or equivalent experience. 4-6 years of experience working in IT administration and operations. Should have strong experience in managing PC build and troubleshooting. Experience in managing MDM platform. Excellent working knowledge of computer systems, security, network and systems administration, and data storage systems. Experience in supporting Apple Laptops, Windows and Linux client based systems. Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills. Manage and support all internal/external audits. Must be able to manage IT inventory. Firm grasp on IT infrastructure and operations best practices. Manage onboarding and offboarding activity. Provide technical support for both hardware and software issues our users encounter. Upgrade systems and processes as required for enhanced functionality and security issue resolution. A self-motivated attitude, excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a collaborative team environment where you are flexible and can jump in on various projects. Should be able to travel to office as and when required. Must be willing to learn new technologies and tools.
