Job Summary

Responsible for the monitoring and uptime of all production databases.
Estimate PostgreSQL database capacities; develop methods for monitoring database capacity and usage.
Develop Stored Procedures and Database Triggers in support of application development.
Responsible for regular backups and recovery of databases.
Analyze existing SQL queries for performance improvements.
Understanding of AWS Cloud architectures and Amazon Aurora PostgreSQL
Development and design of the database.
Troubleshoot issues with SQL Server high availability solutions to include Windows Failover Clusters and SQL Server Always On for servers in private cloud and public cloud environments.
