• Previous working experience in a Purchasing Management for 5-8 years
• Good knowledge of vendor sourcing practices (researching, evaluating and liaising with vendors)
• Hands on experience in budgeting and purchasing management
• Superb communication, interpersonal and leadership skills

• Problem solver with a strong analytical mindset

• Excellent customer service skills
• Hands-on experience with purchasing software/ERP.
• Understanding of supply chain procedures
• Solid analytical skills, with the ability to create financial reports and conduct cost analyses
• Advance knowledge of Excel
• BSc in Material Management, Business Administration or relevant field

Responsibilities

• Design, plan and implement sourcing and purchasing strategies
• Work with suppliers, manufacturers and internal departments
• Research potential vendors. Search and source potential suppliers and vendors
• Maintain a database of approved suppliers
• Compare and evaluate offers from suppliers and Negotiate lower pricing
• Negotiate contract terms of agreement and pricing
• Track, measure and analyze company expenditures
• Track orders and ensure timely delivery
• Review quality of purchased products
• Enter order details (e.g. vendors, quantities, prices) into internal databases
• Maintain updated records of purchased products, delivery information and invoices
• Prepare reports on purchases, including cost analyses
• Monitor stock levels and place orders as needed
• Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure proper storage
• Keep and maintain record of rate contracts with vendor/supplier.
• Keep and maintain record Vendor Quotations, Technical Specs/Drawings, price compression of each purchased items, Quality Certificates etc.
