Java Lead Job in Persistent

About the Position

We are looking for an experienced Java Technical Lead to lead the development of solutions for technical challenges that may impact product delivery. You will play a pivotal role in requirement analysis, peer reviews, framework enhancements, and more. As a Java Technical Lead, your role will be key in driving technical excellence and ensuring the team delivers high-quality software solutions.

To succeed in this position, you should have strong analytical abilities, anticipate issues, frame corrective actions, and excel in teamwork. You will work closely with both business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure the successful delivery of solutions.

What You ll Do:

• Develop & Support Integration Solutions:

  • Create JMS-based integration solutions and APIs (RESTful) for seamless communication between internal applications and third-party systems.

• Architecture & Design:

  • Contribute to architecture, design, and deployment of solutions.
  • Participate in physical design and planning meetings to determine the best solutions that meet business needs.

• Collaboration:

  • Partner with the technical team to plan, schedule, and implement system solutions, ensuring that projects are completed within the allocated timeframe.

• Software Development & Testing:

  • Write, develop, and continuously unit test software according to design specifications.
  • Create and review technical specifications and test plans.
  • Perform functional testing to ensure software performs optimally.

• Issue Resolution:

  • Identify and escalate issues impacting project performance, providing solutions and guidance as needed.

Expertise You ll Bring:

• Experience:

  • 3+ years as a software architect or technical lead.
  • 3-5 years of experience with presentation layer technologies (e.g., JQuery, JavaScript, CSS3, HTML5, DHTML, Ajax, DOJO).
  • Experience working with logical and physical data models.
  • Proven experience working on agile projects and leading agile processes.

• Skills:

  • Design, model, implement, and test high-performance software for mission-critical applications.
  • Influence technology strategy and architecture decisions.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills to work with senior business members, architecture teams, and developers.

• Knowledge:

  • Proficiency with Java frameworks and libraries such as Spring, Hibernate, JEE, JDBC, JMS, and JMX.
  • Strong knowledge of Oracle and object-oriented design and development (OOA/OOD) with a focus on the J2EE framework.
  • Expertise in data architectures and designing scalable systems.
