Java Lead Job in Persistent Systems

We are seeking an experienced Java Lead to provide solutions for technical issues that may affect product delivery. In this role, you will facilitate requirements analysis, conduct peer reviews, provide feedback, and enhance frameworks. As a technical lead, you should demonstrate a strong understanding of industry best practices, leadership skills, and proficiency in Java technologies. Your ability to anticipate challenges and frame effective solutions, along with your teamwork abilities, will be key to your success.

What You ll Do

• Develop and support JMS-based integration solutions and RESTful APIs for internal applications and third-party system integrations.
• Participate in architecture, design, implementation, deployment, and ongoing support.
• Collaborate in physical design and development planning to determine the best solution for business needs.
• Work closely with the technical team to ensure systems planning, scheduling, and timelines align to complete the project within schedule.
• Develop software in accordance with technical specifications and ensure it supports system requirements.
• Apply technical knowledge to follow development concepts, practices, and procedures.
• Write, develop, and continuously unit test software to meet design specifications.
• Create and review technical specifications and test plans.
• Conduct functional testing to ensure optimal performance of the software.
• Identify and escalate any issues that may impact project performance.

Expertise You ll Bring

• Experience:

  • 3+ years as a software architect or technical lead.
  • 3 5 years working with presentation layer technologies (JQuery, JavaScript, CSS3, HTML5, DHTML, Ajax, DOJO).
  • Experience working with logical and physical data models.
  • Experience leading agile projects and implementing agile processes.

• Skills:

  • Ability to design, model, implement, and test high-performance software for mission-critical applications.
  • Ability to define or influence technology strategy.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills, able to engage with technical experts and senior business leaders alike.

• Knowledge:

  • Expertise in Java frameworks and libraries (Spring, Hibernate, JEE, JDBC, JMS, JMX).
  • Oracle knowledge.
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented design and development (OOA/OOD) and J2EE framework.
