Service Design Analyst Job in Pepsico
Role Overview:
As part of the Digital Products and Services team within PepsiCo s global Strategy and Transformation group, you will be instrumental in shaping PepsiCo s next generation of digital products and data infrastructure. This role involves working in a collaborative, interdisciplinary environment to design and support digital solutions, with a focus on critical areas like revenue management, supply chain, manufacturing, and logistics.
In this role, you will be a key ambassador for the culture of Product and Service Design within the organization. You will leverage your expertise in UX and Service Design to influence product and business teams, ensuring the creation of user-centered digital products and services that drive business improvement.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in the full design process for digital products and services, from research and ideation to design, testing, and validation.
- Conduct primary and secondary research, synthesize findings, and provide actionable insights and recommendations for new solutions.
- Apply Human-Centered Design and Service Design Thinking to guide the production of both low and high-fidelity deliverables.
- Facilitate and co-plan workshops internally and externally to solve complex problems through design.
- Create project deliverables such as low and high-fidelity UI prototypes, project plans, design system components, research guides, and insight reports.
- Coordinate activities with cross-functional teams, including digital teams, business teams, and IT services.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders throughout the Service Design process, providing training and knowledge transfer as needed.
- Influence product teams with data-driven recommendations to improve product design and outcomes.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience designing digital products and services as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Deep understanding of Service Design and UX Design methodologies, with proven experience in implementing and facilitating the design process using tools like Process Mapping, User Journey Mapping, User Story Mapping, Wireframing, UI Prototyping, and User Testing.
- Proficiency with industry-standard design and research tools such as Figma, Adobe CC, Sketch, InVision, and UserTesting.
- Experience in building and managing a Design System across a portfolio of products and services.
- Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to navigate ambiguity and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Familiarity with Agile and SAFe methodologies for product development and analytics, and fluent in tools like Azure DevOps, Jira, and Confluence.
- Experience creating a clear project vision, execution strategy, and maintaining quality standards throughout the design process.
- Experience planning and conducting user research and testing sessions, including developing moderator guides and generating synthesis artifacts.
- Proven ability to advocate for User-Centered Design approaches that address user needs, pain points, and desires.
- Experience designing responsive, mobile-first digital products, including both native and hybrid mobile apps.
- Strong skills in workshop planning and facilitation, with a collaborative and results-oriented approach.
