Job Description

  • Leads global application (SAP, JDA, Ariba, EC, etc.) upgrade team at IT Hub
  • Prioritize teams work and assign daily work tasks with limited supervision
  • Submits period forecasts, manages project and organizational financials by accurately tracking and updating expense status through period forecasts to ensure budget expectations are achieved
  • Provides input to annual objectives, conducts annual performance processes including setting objectives and measurement and performance evaluation, conducts PMP Process, responsible for hiring decisions
  • Manages a team size of about 10+ direct reports
  • Ensures effective resource utilization across the workgroup
  • Defines internal quality and performance standards (e.g., services, patterns, decision trees, code templates, and common development services);
  • Provides guidance and expertise to the support teams on design and development performance and architecture decisions
  • Get guidence from global teams for standards and direction
  • Acts as quality assurance (QA) lead and/or performs reviews on technical designs and builds to ensure all standards are met
  • Provide system sizing and estimations for projects. Actively participate in sizing discussions.
  • Collaborates with global function sub-leads in facilitating governance and template management, provide subject matter expertise, ensures teams adherence to PIRT and other global standards
  • Assists with development of strategic vision and direction for workgroup. Provides strategic input to Global/Project Tech Lead for their technical space
  • Leads teams work with customers and IT partners to identify and resolve issues within defined SLAs
  • Provides outstanding customer service to direct and indirect customers

Qualifications/Requirements

  • 10+ years of hands-on System Admin in SAP.
  • 8+ years in managing teams and/or experience in managing global teams
  • HANA, PO, Fiori, Cloud Experience will be preferred
  • JDA and other Oracle application experience is preferred
  • Experience in Databases and various operating systems. Knowhow of Infrastructure including Datacenter operations and Network
  • Knowledge of Migrations and Upgrades
  • Knowledge of HA/DR setup
  • Knowledge of integration points between business processes
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to work flexible hours based on varying business requirements
  • Solves highly complex problems within the work team
  • Provides outstanding customer service skills to direct and indirect customers
  • Ability to manage budget
  • Strong management skills with the ability to develop teams and cultivate talent
  • Knowledge and experience in following tools, disciplines and processes are preferred: SAP upgrades, JDA Upgrade, SAP Solution Manager, SAP ChaRM, ITIL tools & processes, MS Office products, project implementation and production support experience
  • Experience in CPG industry preferred
  • PIRT knowledge and governance experience preferred
  • Ability to make decisions based on information at hand. Short term and long term impacts of those decisions.
  • Communication skills at both technical and non-technical level.
  • Excellent SAP Basis and Upgrade experience
