Job Summary

SENIOR DEVOPS ENGINEER

Job title:Senior DevOps Engineer

Years of Experience:5 Years

Education Required:BE/ BTech/ ME/ MTech or equivalent

Role Responsibilities:

Understand how various systems work , how overall SDLC processes are implemented and how IT Ops are managed
Utilize various open source technologies & Use various tools to orchestrate solutions
Build independent web based tools, microservices and solutions & Develop scripts to automate deployments to servers
Have to work closely with Development teams for understanding requirements on setting up CI/CD.
Have to manage releases via the set DevOps processes & to manage source control including SVN and GIT

Special skills:

Approx 3 years of experience in managing Linux based infrastructure, atleast in one scripting language, with databases including PostGres, Mongo & Elasticsearch
Knowledge of Java/JVM based languages
Experience on setting up and configuring GitLab CI & Jenkins CI tools, and building CI/CD pipeline for deployment to various cloud environments such as On-Premise or Cloud Environment (AZURE , AWS or similar)
Experience in setting up and managing web servers such as Tomcat, Nginx and Apache Httpd
Experience on setting up auto-scalable, load balancing and highly available micro services, any monitoring tool for application, working on Linux based infrastructure.
