Job Summary

Problem Solving:

You should have the rigor and discipline to approach most of the problems and ensure the delivery of quality work ahead of timelines. You are able to look at a problem, define and brainstorm ways to achieve an optimal solution and pick the best engineering approach to bring the software productivity.Architectural Operations: You should have in-depth knowledge to design, launch and run services in AWS to support a complex and rapidly growing software engineering organization. Knowledge of working with the Nginx web server, Apache, Kafka would be preferable..

Scripting Skills:

You must have in-depth knowledge and hands-on experience in working with scripting languages like python and bash, and Linux/Unix administration and should be able to automate various deployment processes using the same.

Computer Networking:

You should have good knowledge of basic computer networking, including IPv4 and IPv6 addresses, DNS, SMTP among others.

Infrastructure Development:

You should have experience with micro-service development, containerization platforms such as Docker, and container orchestration tools such as Kubernetes and in-depth knowledge of scalable continuous integration, continuous deployment tools like Jenkins, and source control with Git and Githooks would be required.

Monitoring Tools:

You should be well-versed with new technologies like Elastic Search, Kibana, and monitoring tools like Logstash, Grafana, and Prometheus

Issue Resolving:

You should be efficient in troubleshooting and fixing various production and performance issues in AWS- Dev staging and production environments.

Scalability:

You must have the ability to continuously develop and integrate new systems and operations into the code and should be able to make modifications in the existing architecture as per new requirements.
