Job Summary
Qualification : Any Computer Science based graduation.
As a Senior Test Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining test automation frameworks, including the creation of test plans and scripts. You will work extensively with Selenium WebDriver, Java, and various automation tools to ensure the quality of company products, focusing particularly on the insurance domain. Your role will involve troubleshooting automation issues, collaborating with development and QA teams, and keeping up with the latest trends in automation testing.

Responsibilities
- Develop and execute software test plans for both manual and automated testing, focusing on functional, integration, and regression tests.
- Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, and project managers to ensure high-quality software releases.
- Design and implement scalable, maintainable automation frameworks using Selenium WebDriver, Cucumber, and other modern testing tools.
- Participate in planning the automation roadmap and establishing best practices for test automation processes.
- Regularly update and maintain the Selenium WebDriver scripts and test suites.
- Troubleshoot issues with automation scripts, identifying defects and working with developers to resolve them.
- Design automation solutions that are modular, extensible, and follow industry best practices (e.g., SOLID principles).
- Contribute to continuous integration and delivery using Jenkins and other tools.
- Provide guidance on identifying and setting up the best-fit languages, tools, and data formats for automation solutions.
- Mentor junior team members and facilitate knowledge sharing within the team, including organizing communities of practice and code pairing.
- Ensure comprehensive documentation and training materials for test automation processes are created and maintained.
- Serve as a go-to expert for troubleshooting and support in automation projects.
Qualifications
- Education: Degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Experience: 10+ years in software development, with a strong background in automation testing.
- Technical Skills:
- Extensive experience with Selenium WebDriver and Java.
- Familiarity with automated testing tools such as TestNG, JUnit, and Cucumber.
- Strong understanding of insurance domain and related testing needs.
- Experience with version control systems and modern software development practices.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile environments.
- Knowledge of continuous integration and delivery pipelines (e.g., Jenkins).
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work in a collaborative team environment, across global teams.
- Willingness to learn new tools and techniques to meet evolving project needs.
