DESCRIPTION

Are you an experienced QA Analyst looking to have a global influence at Amazon? The Employee Services Technology (ES Tech) team is growing rapidly and is looking for talented engineers who can help us create the massive scale and powerful new solutions that our customers need to be successful. You will have the chance to drive the expansion of our Content management platform, which is based on Adobe Experience Manager, across HR business lines across the company, to address the needs of one of the world's largest, most diverse employee population. As a QA Analyst on the Content management Solutions team, you will be a key contributor delivering against the strategic expansion and self-service initiatives that support growth, operational efficiency, and technology modernization across various Human Resource functions. Your analytical, problem solving skills will support multiple development deliverables across the multiple AEM and AWS services, with integration to other systems or tools. You will work across projects with multiple teams, solving problems, establishing quality standards and processes, and focusing efforts on the dependencies that matter.

Responsibilities include:


Manage, organize and execute comprehensive QA test plans and strategy
Develop and efficiently execute manual and automated QA, regression, system integration, and performance test scripts based on user story acceptance criteria and/or functional specifications
Work with business systems analysts to understand user stories and/or functional specifications, and turn them into test cases
Establish standards and processes to ensure proper preparation and quality test execution
Work with developers to understand the overall technical architecture and how each feature is implemented
Find, isolate, document, regress, and track bugs through resolution
Interpret and report testing results
Be a vocal proponent for quality in every phase of the development process ensuring the highest quality product is delivered
Work with UAT and production support teams for handoff and overall delivery of solutions Support deployments and cutover activities as needed

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

5+ years of expertise in testing methodologies, experience with standard QA and development tools including test automation.
Bachelors degree
Ability to operate within short and long release cycles
Exceptional troubleshooting and problem solving abilities
Superior communications skills, both written and verbal; the ability to explain and present details to both technical and business audiences
Understanding of Agile and Waterfall project methodologies and experience working in both environments
Must be comfortable in fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and able to manage multiple and/or changing priorities
Experience with large scale multi country business solutions

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field
Experience in Human Resources Domain.
Experience in working with content management solutions like AEM and various AWS services.
Experience building automation processes using automation tools (e.g. Selenium, Python. Java, Java Script, PERL, etc.)
Demonstrated knowledge of relational databases and table structures
Experience in API, Web, and automated testing .
Experience with SQL and/or proficient in writing queries
Experience with TestRail or similar test case tracking system
Experience in one or more development languages including Node.js, Python, Go.
