Job Summary

What we are looking for:

We are looking for an ambitious and energetic Business Development Executive to help us expand our clientele. You will be the front of the company and will have the dedication to create and apply an effective sales strategy and work towards building & representing the brand Obbserv. The goal is to drive sustainable financial growth through boosting sales and forging strong relationships with clients.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Research & OutBound
    • Research organisations and individuals online to identify new leads and potential new markets.
    • Contact potential clients via email or phone to establish rapport and set up meetings.
    • Locates or proposes potential business deals by contacting potential clients, discovering and exploring opportunities.
    • Identify potential clients, and the decision makers within the client organization.
    • Meet potential Business heads by growing, maintaining, and leveraging one s network.
    • Represent Obbserv at industry events, including roundtables, speaking forums and new business events.
  • Building Relationship
    • Develop effective working relationships with customers through regular meetings and identify and obtain further sales and business development
  • Follow Up & Negotiations
    • Regular Follow-ups to be taken to move the client in the Sales Pipeline.
    • Set up meetings with top management & decision makers and meeting them in-person.
    • Negotiating with the client for analysing the requirements & finalising a profitable deal.
  • Process Alignment
    • Apply Company wide project management standards in preparing bids and contracts, responding to customer needs and managing the sales process from opportunity identification to customer sign off.
    • To follow the process and current guidelines of the Sales Team or as conveyed by the reporting authority for effective sales.
    • To propose enhancements required in the present processes if required.

    • Respond to incoming Requests for Information (RFIs), Requests for Proposals (RFPs) in a professional and creative manner.
    • To communicate clearly with the client & team members to avoid communication gaps and mis-understanding.
    • To be constant communication with delivery team for improving the business understanding, improvising the concepts and sell better.

  • Team Coordination & OnBoarding
    • Work with team to develop proposals that speaks to the client s needs, concerns, and objectives.
    • Close the deal and get the contract signed along with first advance payment.
    • Smoothly execute the onboarding of the client.
    • Clear communication with client & team to set the expectations right and providing team with all the details of communication till now to act.
  • Content Creation & Enhancement
    • Write proposals and specifications; prepare sales contracts ensuring adherence to law-established rules and guidelines.
    • Introduction, Branding Material, Pitch, Sales Material, Presentations, OnBoarding Documentation, Contracts and any other document which is required for enhancing or generating Sales.
  • Learning & Development
    • Update knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, participating in professional organizations.
    • Has to keep them updated with latest market trends in their focused area of sales, sales process and tools in marketing to improve the efficiency.
  • Technology
    • Leverage technology and automation to improve the sales process and close more deals
    • To think technology and automate the activities involved to improve the efficiency, accuracy & execute at scale.
  • Action & Accountable - Prompt & Thoughtful
    • To be prompt with the action
    • To be accountable & logical for the decision made, commitments to the client on behalf of the team
  • Strategy, Planning & Reporting - Daily, Monthly, OnDemand
    • Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction.
    • Devise and implement the strategy for meeting sales performance targets.
    • Strategizing the approach for reaching out to new clients.
    • Every meeting, call or follow up has to be planned in-advance.
    • Reporting process has to be followed and shall provide the report On Demand.
    • Plan approaches and pitches, making strategies for clients.

Qualifications:

  • Technical Sales, To be able to perform the job successfully, an individual should possess the following qualifications:
    • A bachelor s degree in Computer Science/Information Technology from a reputed institute with 1-2 years of sales or marketing experience. An additional MBA degree would be highly preferred but is not mandatory.
    • Modern Web and Mobile technologies.
    • Strong communication skills in order to communicate, present, assert and speak to all the different stakeholders involved.
    • Written & verbal communication, negotiation, good with follow ups, strong presentation skills, interpersonal skills, understanding of system architecture, UI/UX Understanding
    • Not necessary, but an added advantage
    • Excellent time management and organisation skills.
  • Digital Marketing Sales
    • Bachelor Degree.
    • Digital Marketing, MS - Office/Google Docs, prior experience using a CRM software and also should be open to learn new softwares.
    • Strong communication skills in order to communicate, present, assert and speak to all the different stakeholders involved.
    • Written & verbal communication, negotiation, good with follow ups, strong presentation skills, interpersonal skills, understanding of numbers.
    • Assertive, self motivated, good listener.
    • Spontaneous, quick and active.
    • Not necessary, but an added advantage.
    • Excellent time management and organisation skills.
    • Minimum two years in Corporate Sales or some Management role would be great
