Job Summary

Numadic is hiring a Chief Operating Officer Join our team in undisrupting the business of finance in logistics.

Education: Engineering degree and/or an MBA or equivalent degree at a tier 1, 2 B-school. (we ll overlook this if you ve worked in a role at a startup that rapidly scaled).

We are a B2B company, working with enterprise customers, helping them deliver best in class experiences to their end-customers. From number one rated mobile apps to industry leading approaches to API finance and transactions, our team does what it takes to simplify. An outline of what you should ideally love doing:
  • Building strong relationships across the company, supporting the operational development of the company, as well as where appropriate, challenging the plan.
  • Stakeholder management and cross-team collaboration: coordinate effectively with other teams and resources to achieve company objectives.
  • Challenge the performance of the business and push for continuous efficiency improvements.
  • Establish a high performing team of diverse A-players, optimizing roles, responsibilities, cost, goals, OKRs, and people processes to achieve goals and success for all individuals.
  • Overseeing corporate development: identifying, qualifying and leading strategic initiatives.
  • Lead operational planning, by developing KPIs and appropriate business analysis and forecasting processes to facilitate short, medium and longer term business and operational planning by the management team.
  • Create and develop an evolutionary control framework around opportunity recognition that will sustain hyper growth and rapid expansion.
  • Creating an operating cadence with monthly dashboards, periodic business reviews & regular forecasting to attack these metrics & drive behavior throughout the organization to improve performance.

    To excel at this role at Numadic, you need a humble mind, self discipline and prior experience with:
  • Mindfulness practices that keep you grounded.
  • Operating ethically and being able to spot and stop yourself if you aren t.
  • Serving as a sitting COO within a scale-up, ideally VC-backed, international B2B software/SaaS business, at a similar or later stage to Numadic.
  • Being in driver roles, biased toward action.
  • Crisp organization skills.
  • Clear communication skills.
  • Experience in strategic consulting / business intelligence / business analysis / /strategy or high-growth operations experience at a startup or consulting firm.
  • Taking responsibility for your life and that of your people and projects.
  • Ideally also have experience of working in a payments business.
