1. PRE-REQUISITE:

  • Hands on troubleshooting experience in global enterprise LAN and WAN environment
  • Strong hands-on technical subject matter expertise on experience on HP, Aruba, Cisco, and Juniper platform
  • Technical expertise with Switching (VLAN, Trunking, Dot1x, various flavors of STP) protocols, Routing protocols (EIGRP, OSPF, BGP) and Wireless technologies
  • Knowledge of Infoblox and QoS

2. RESPONSIBILITIES:

Engineers who have a passion and understanding for providing outstanding customer service. This person will be part of a team of experts who are responsible for handling network/security support, problem management, managing network performance and proactively identifying issues before they become customer affecting.

  • 24*7 Remote Management and Monitoring of Enterprise Networks of Large Global clients that have a distributed LAN , WAN setup
  • Act as an Subject Matter Expert for certain Network products
  • Planning and execution of Change Management processes
  • Creation of Method Of Procedure and/or Standard Operating Procedure document
  • Performance tuning of Network devices and creation of Service Improvement Plans
  • Queue management for escalated issues monitor ticket queue, ensure assignment/resolution and closure, work and resolve trouble tickets, handle ticket escalation
  • Work with Telecommunication Service Providers to resolve escalated circuit problems to resolution
  • Planning and Perform upgrade of firmware
  • Work with Hardware/Software Vendors to resolve problems
  • Train and Mentor juniors
  • Interface with customer on calls and lead technical meetings
  • Assist is creation of Root Cause analysis (RCA)
  • Provide technical inputs for weekly/monthly customer service review reports

3. TRAINING AND CERTIFICATION REQUIRED FOR JOB

CCNA, CCNP, CCIE, JCNIA, JNCIS, JNCIP is desirable.

4. EXPERIENCE:

7 + years relevant experience

5. EDUCATION:

Engineering Degree/ Diploma for recognized University /Board

6. OTHER SKILLS:

  • Excellent communication skills written as well as verbal
  • Passion to work on core technology platform
  • ITIL process awareness
