The position
As a Data Engineer, we expect you to have hands on Expertise in AWS and cloud infrastructure, contribute to bringing the AWS-based data platform into production, Implement the foundations of the AWS configuration for the platform. Configure relevant AWS services according to best practice, Integrate AWS data services with selected Novo Nordisk data platforms and further Assist with implementation of the data platform by providing guidance for technical setup.
You will be working along with the Agile Delivery Team in building and maintaining the data pipelines into Data Lake. You will have task spread over development of pipelines to maintaining the pipelines. You will provide technical advice for the implementation of a shared data platform based on an AWS-based architecture.
You will help define the optimal configuration of the data platform into the data science work being done within the organizational area, Support the optimizing of roles and responsibility within the data engineering and data science organization. Be the go-to person for queries related to data platform and Ensure day to day activity of data platform is maintained.
Qualification
We ideally expect you to hold a MSC, MBA, BA or similar graduate degree in relevant field (Software Engineering, Economics, Computer Science, Business Administration)
- Overall 7+ years of IT (Knowledge on Pharma processes would be an added advantage)
- Relevant of 4+ Years for the above and below said role and skill
- Understanding of SaaS and AWS
- Hand on experience in Python scripting
- Hands on experience with, AWS Glue, AWS Athena, AWS Lake Formation, Amazon Sage maker, S3 and IAM, AWS CloudFormation, AWS Lambda
- Good to understand spark with AWS cloud expertise
- Ability to collaborate and communicate with external parties, primarily users.
