QA Lead (Automation)

Position Summary:

NewVision is looking for QA Lead automation with strong experience in test automation. This position coordinates developing, testing, reports and tracks automated testing problems by providing test cases, works with other team members.. This position is responsible for building highly automated environments using virtual and cloud resources, re-viewing automated test cases and other testing artifacts to ensure the accuracy and completeness of all test environment.

Responsibilities:

• Design and development skills in object oriented languages like JAVA/C# and Automation APIs exposure, Selenium etc.(JAVA, C#)
• Good knowledge of object orient programming, along with requisite coding and debugging skills
• Understand the Business requirement to develop the test plan and test scripts using TOSCA Test suite
• Report weekly status and metrics to LOBs and clients
• Analyze and locate the exception layer where failure of test scripts occurred and fix the scripts

Qualifications:

• Candidate should have 7 to 10 years experience with at least 5 years in hands-on test automation development
• Min 2 to 12 years of relevant experience is must.
• Should have more than 2 years in hands-on test automation development using Tosca

Preferred Skills & Experience:

• Having experience in handling multiple test automation teams
• Experience with software testing and automated test techniques with a strong focus on quality throughout the entire software development cycle
• Good knowledge of object-oriented programming, along with requisite coding and debugging skills
• Proven ability to translate functional requirements and use cases into working test plans and test cases.
• Experience building highly automated environments using virtual and cloud resources is strongly desired.
• Strong customer focus, excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience working in an agile environment preferred.
• Experience with code management, change tracking, and team collaboration tools (e.g., GitHub, JIRA, etc.)
• Sound knowledge of Selenium, Git Workflow, Jenkins & Rest Assured
• Some knowledge of continuous integration practices (Jenkins, CI/CD)
• Understanding of Mobile Native App automation
• Should have experience in UI, API database automation using TOSCA
• Should have hands-on experience on TCD, TDM, Libraries, TOSCA CI, TOSCA BI
