Lead Automation Test Engineer Job in Excelsoft Technologies Pvt Ltd

Educational Certification: BE / B.Tech / MCA / MSc

Essential Skillset:

3+ years of relevant experience as a QA Lead role, that will include technical leadership, contribution to the center of excellence, mentoring, code reviews, Team management.

Strong work experience in automation of UI, API using C#

Experience working on a CI/CD platform such as bitbucket, GIT

Effective Test data management

Strong work experience in Agile methodology

Strong knowledge of QA process and Methodologies

Excellent work experience in framework design pattern

Experience working in cross-functional agile teams with a scrum ceremony and DevOps culture

Experience with ALM tools such as Jira, Confluence

Strong systems, problem-solving and analytical skills, exceptional verbal & written communication skills

Excellent self-learner

Proven ability to work effectively and contributing to the immediate team and to the center of excellence

Ability to evaluate and challenge functional and technical requirements and design

Ability to work and coordinate with onshore-offshore teams

Excellent Team management

Reports and Test matrix generation and presentation

Functional Roles and Responsibilities

Build a testing team of professionals with appropriate skills, attitudes, and motivation

Identify Training requirements and forward them to the Project Manager (Technical and Soft skills)

Develop the test plan for the tasks, dependencies, and participants required to mitigate the risks to system quality and obtain stakeholder support for this plan

Assign tasks to all Testing Team members and ensure that all of them have sufficient work in the project

Ensure content and structure of all Testing documents/artifacts are documented and maintained

Document, implement, monitor, and enforce all processes for testing as per standards defined by the organization

Keep track of the new requirements/change in requirements of the Project

Escalate the issues about project requirements (Software, Hardware, Resources) to Project Manager / Sr. Test Manager

Organize the status meetings and send the Status Report (Daily, Weekly, etc.) to the Client

Attend the regular client call and discuss the weekly status with the client

Act as the single point of contact between Development and Testers

Track and prepare the report of testing activities like test testing results, test case coverage, required resources, defects discovered and their status, performance baselines, etc

Review various reports prepared by Test engineers

Ensure the timely delivery of different testing milestones

Prepares/updates the metrics dashboard at the end of a phase or at the completion of the project.
