Job Description:

We are looking for a Senior Technical Writer who will help us in product documentation of eFreightsuite product focused on quality and the customer. Deliverables include user guide, installation, configuration and integration guides, technical release notes, demonstration videos, API guides, product Q&A, FAQ etc. You will be interacting with software developers, product managers, project leads and end users to craft the content. You will also interact heavily with end-users and customer training department to ensure the information generated is applicable to target audience. Come and be part of a growth team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Determine the scope, sequence and form of documentation based on the target audience, specific subject, project objectives and product release date

• Research, develop, write, and review product documentation. Attend scrums researches, and use software to translate technical information into both developer and user-facing documentation

• Write concisely and precisely to be able to convey information appropriately for a variety of audiences

• Ensure the technical accuracy, quality, clarity and completeness of the entire documentation set relating to a product release

• A visual designer Intermediate level ability to create document contents & layouts with graphics and formatting as well as illustration skills

• Take part in usability testing and document the usability flow to provide a natural flow of information

• Conduct interviews with developers, product management, and other technical staff to gather data for documentation/videos/forum responses.

Candidate Profile:

• Bachelor s degree in Technical Writing, English, Communication, Engineering or equivalent

• Should possess at least 5-10 years of technical writing experience, preferably in product documentation

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills including expert level proficiency in written English.

• Preferred Industry: Supply Chain, Logistics Industry, Product development

• Experience documenting digital marketing products is highly desired.

Good to have skills:

• Experience in web authoring tools, interactive walkthroughs, screen recording tools with guiding voice, creating video tutorials. Exposure to tools like Snagitt, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, Camtasia, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Robo Help, MS Visio, MadCap Flare, Adobe Captivate, whatfix etc.
