Role Introduction
Narayana Health is in the process of setting up a strategic team tasked with bringing healthcare closer to patients. The initiative involves setting up primary and secondary care services which are easily accessible to patients and are supported by hyper-responsive processes built keeping patient needs and their satisfaction at the centre of focus. The initiative aims to bridge the gap between Narayana Healths in-hospital offering and patients everyday healthcare needs and provide patients access to continuum of care tailored to their own specific healthcare needs.
Job Purpose:
The incumbent will be responsible for leading operations and administration across a chain of NH clinics in Bangalore. The role includes leading P&L activities, managing service excellence and operational efficiency initiatives, establishing a seamless working relationship with NH hospitals for the benefit of the patient and overseeing processes for regulatory and fiscal control of operations.
Job Responsibilities:
Sustainability & growth
Guide and oversee operational initiatives for driving growth and sustainability of the clinic operations
Direct and guide initiatives for patient engagement and acquisition
Spearhead cost and operational efficiency initiatives aimed at sustainability of operations
Create and implement robust management information system for monitoring and evaluation, including a system for continuous performance measurement
Monitor the established goals, organizational performance and growth through set indicators
Stakeholder engagement
- Demonstrate effective interpersonal skills and ability to develop positive stakeholder relationship
- Identify trends and analyze feedback to establish customer needs, initiate action and follow up to meet customer expectations
- Direct and champion service excellence initiatives with a view to providing a delightful and comforting experience to patients
Demonstrate collaborative techniques for engaging and working with internal stakeholders
Lead engagement with doctors and build mutually beneficial relationship
Oversee training and development for professional growth and satisfaction of the team
Financial and regulatory control
- Be responsible for achieving budgeted revenue and cost targets
- Own the processes end to end and set up effective review mechanisms
- Oversee processes to ensure regulatory compliance of operations
- Critically analyze for gaps from an audit control perspective and implement solutions to address them
Collaborative working
- Mange conflict through mediation, negotiation and other dispute resolution techniques
- Promote and participate in constructive team-based working
- Anticipate potential issues, facilitate removal of barriers and resolve issues involving stakeholders through an inclusive process
- Solicit regular feedback from internal and external stakeholders, own improvement and build acceptance and support within the system
Candidate Requirements:
Understanding and working knowledge of the fiscal aspects of a hospital.

Networking Skills
Highly organized
Good communication and presentation skills.
Ability to react and respond quickly to changes in business and work environment.
Candidates should have had hands on experience in managing hospital operations, balancing the revenue goal, operating goals with handling clinicians, nurses, technicians and administration personnel.
