Job Summary The Quality Control Analyst is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and quality of mortgage loan documents. This role involves reviewing loan files, identifying errors, providing feedback, and analyzing trends to improve overall quality. The Analyst will work closely with internal staff to ensure compliance with quality control policies and procedures. Key Responsibilities: Quality Control Reviews: Review mortgage loan documents completed by internal staff and provide detailed quality control feedback. Compliance: Adhere to quality control policies and procedures to ensure compliance with scopes of work. Subject Matter Expert: Serve as a subject matter expert for the assigned team and scope, providing guidance and support. Training: Assist with required or identified training needs related to quality control. Error Analysis: Analyze individual loan files and identify errors based on approved QC checklists. Red Flag Identification: Identify all red flags in mortgage files and report them to leadership. Trend Analysis: Analyze and publish error trend analysis, and develop and implement action plans to improve QC scores. Feedback and Coaching: Share feedback and coach team members based on identified errors. Proactively share error trends and risks related to changes in policies and procedures. Additional Duties: Perform other duties as requested. Qualifications: Education: Graduate degree, preferably in commerce. Technical Skills: Strong PC, typing, and technical skills. Experience: Minimum 3-4 years of current mortgage origination experience with emphasis in loan processing under U.S. secondary marketing and regulatory guidelines, with coaching/training responsibilities. Knowledge: Current working knowledge of FNMA/FHLMC guidelines. Communication Skills: Strong command of the English language, along with analytical, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. Other: Must have experience in the specific scope of work position being filled, demonstrating current acceptable production and quality rating metrics. Must pass background checks. Must be willing to work rotational and US night shifts (24/7) and weekends when required. Preferred Skills: Knowledge of US mortgage regulatory requirements relating particularly to conventional and conforming loans. Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team environment. Ability to coach and mentor team members. Ability to produce accurate and detailed work under time pressure. Strong sense of urgency and ability to work in a team environment. Detail-oriented and excellent organizational skills. Willingness to adapt to changing circumstances in a rapidly evolving environment.
Qualification :
Graduate degree, preferably in commerce.
