Summary The Azure Cloud Data Architect is responsible for the architecture, design, and support of Azure data integration, data warehouse and business intelligence solutions for Customer. The successful candidate will work directly with stakeholders and team members to define, design and deliver solutions while working with Azure data engineers, ETL, BI and application developers in an agile environment. Essential Job Funtions To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to satisfactorily perform each essential function listed below. Architect, Design and deploy Azure platform solutions to support data integration, transmission, transformation, reporting and analytics around data Design and develop modern data solutions leveraging components like Azure Logic Apps, Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Azure SQL, Azure Synapse, Databricks and PowerBI Provide oversight and guidance to Sevita s Azure Data Engineering, Business Intelligence teams other IT and business teams Provide expert solutions coded in languages e.g. Python, Spark, T-SQL, Scala, C#. Utilize and provide guidance regarding DevOps tools like Azure DevOps, Jenkins etc. Experience working with Azure data platforms, integration techniques & self-service data preparation. Assist business and technical users on functional and data requirements to enhance data models and pipelines. Job Description for `Azure Cloud Data Architect Design, develop, implement, and support complex Azure + PowerBI applications of strategic or functional importance including: integration with data sources; highly automated data refresh processes; best-in-class data visualizations, dashboards, and reports that communicate critical insights to drive decision making Develop and maintain data management standards, and documentation of current data sources, raw data, data marts, transformations, and report specifications Oversee data quality including validation, cleansing/scrubbing, ETL methods, etc. Formulate and recommend standards for achieving maximum performance and efficiency of the data ecosystem Participate in data integration, business intelligence (BI) and enterprise information management programs by rationalizing data processing to support reuse. Ensure best possible performance and security of infrasturcture\ Performs additional duties and activities as required. Minimum Knowledge and Skills required by the Job The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or abilities required to perform the job. 6+ years experience Azure architecture, design and development. Significant experience as BI/DW architect on several BI/DW initiatives Experience in building Data warehouse using different data modeling techniques. Data security at a macro and micro level (platform, row-level, encryption, etc.) Rich Data/Dimensional modeling expertise Experience with Master Data Management, Data Governance, and/or Enterprise Information Management Expert knowledge of Azure tools and services centered around data and analytics (Data Lake, Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure SQL etc.) Excellent understanding of Microsoft Power BI and other Microsoft BI platforms(SSRS, SSAS & SSIS) Expert in BI Report & Dashboard development Experience designing and building complete ETL processes moving and transforming data from ODS, Staging and Data Warehousing, cloud and hybrid Experience with reporting and visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI & SSRS) Exposure to Big Data technologies in Azure Experience with Jira, Confluence, EasyVista or similar application preferred Education and Experience: Bachelor s Degree in computer science or related field required. Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations: Vendor certification (Azure cloud, AWS cloud, etc.) preferred.
