Job Description The Data Architect will be part of ProCogia s Data Engineering practice. This role will proactively contribute in ProCogia s mission that enable our customers to make intelligent and agile business decisions through strategically tailored data solutions. The Data Architect works with our customers to Design, implement, and maintain data architecture, including data models, data dictionaries, data flow diagrams and Data pipelines. Implement the master data and reference data strategy in the organization. Implement (from idea generation to delivery) data-driven, business-impacting analytical use cases. The Azure Data Architect has the following responsibilities and duties: This position needs strong data architecture innovation and execution mindset and will act as a trustworthy advisor to various stakeholders. Design, develop and implement Data Architecture solution in a Azure cloud environment. Perform detailed Requirements gathering and analysis, Data mapping and data profiling. Translate business requirements into data models and meta data, test data, and data quality standards. Develop data models to support data analysis and reporting Develop mapping of data sources, data movement, interfaces, and architecture, with the goal of ensuring data quality, data security and availability. Design and creation of scalable, secured data pipelines Perform root cause analysis on internal and external data, processes and share insights with different stakeholders using reporting and visualizations tools. Design infrastructure required for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data from a wide variety of data sources into Snowflake and other platforms Understand existing implementation and should enhance it as needed. Work with other data engineers, data ingestion specialists, and experts across cross-functional teams. Work on large datasets to meet functional and business requirements. Requirements The Azure Data Architect should have the following skills, education, and experience: Skills Required: 5+ years of experience as Data Architect in full Azure data stack and services. Strong expertise in Analytical Data model design and implementation in Azure cloud environments. Strong expertise in Azure data services, such as Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure SQL Database, and Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Factory (ADF). Expertise creating, integrating, and automating scalable and secured data pipelines. Advance experience and knowledge working with DBT. Advance experience and knowledge working on creating and integrating customized Analytical campaigns. Advance experience and knowledge working with Oracle tools. Expertise with Snowflake (including ETL & Snowpipe) Knowledge of API-based integration and security (Restful and SOAP) Experience with Data Visualization tools such as Power BI etc. Ability to learn fast and translate data into actionable results Excellent communication skills with onsite team and client stakeholders Self-starter with strong business acumen who understands organizational issues and challenges. Preferred: Experience with AWS and GCP cloud platforms is preferred. Excellent SQL and Python, PySpark skills using Spark framework. Experience with DataBricks solution implementation. Stream-processing systems: Streaming-Analytics, IoT Hub, Event Hub (all nice to have)
