Supply Chain Management HeadLocation:MumbaiFunctionSupply Chain ManagementBrief DescriptionA DC Operations Head is an empowered role in More Retail Limited wherein the successful candidate will be responsible for handling movement of over 4 million SLC combinations across 11 DCs and 6 RPCs for one of the top retailer in the challenging and exciting Indian Food and Grocery Retail sector.

The DC Operations Head is expected to have excellent execution capabilities and a keen eye for tracking supply chain health metrics such as inventory pendencies, productivity optimization, vehicle utilization and store fill rate.Principal Responsibilities Managing End-to-end DC Operations and Transportation (Primary and Secondary) for the Company Distribution planning of over 1 lakh active SKUs from 11 DCs and 6 RPCs KPI-driven approach towards delivering highest service levels at optimal costso Maximize throughput (Qty/ per Manhours)

Minimize Pendencies (Relentlessly tracking aged inventory)o Improve Productivity across key functions - Receiving, Putaway, Picking, Loading / Unloadingo Improvement across quality metrics such as store satisfaction survey, QC Score, DC Shrinkage etco Fleet Size Optimization and Route Optimization Managing Transportation (Primary & Secondary) and DC capacity additions Implement Cost & Process transformation projects for Logistics, Transportation and Warehousing Implement Alternate Supply Chain models for Niche, high margin and freshness sensitive products Manage escalations and exceptions of the DCs Meet warehouse operations financial objectives by forecasting handling and storage requirements, preparing an annual budget, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances and initiating corrective actions.

Develops warehouse operations system improvements by analyzing process work flow, manning and space requirements and equipment layout

Knowledge / Education:

Min Graduate in any discipline, MBA/PGDM in operations desirable Must have 8-15 years of experience in Supply Chain operations Excellent execution capabilities and meticulous planning abilities Strong leadership skill, approachable and responsive resource Strong customer service focus, with a high level of responsiveness
