Job Snapshot Mindtickle is looking for a QA Manager (Automation) for our Enterprise SaaS platform/product. Working as part of the Engineering team, and with a goal to provide a world-class customer experience consistently, you will take up the complete end-to-end ownership of the designated product streams to strive for product quality. You will be responsible for test automation, test management which entails the development and execution of test plans, test strategy, quality processes and drive quality, stability, performance, security and usability of products. You would promote accountability for success; effectively delegate; use appropriate metrics to monitor progress; drive continuous improvement; willingly apply good practices in engineering, design and testing. What s in it for you? Build a complete understanding of business requirements, and primary and customer-facing use cases. Develop a strong end-to-end functional and architectural understanding of the feature/product. Define and execute the Test Automation strategy for the product streams with a focus to achieve well-balanced test coverage across the layers - End-To-End/UI, Service (API, Integration, Component). Define, measure and track Quality metrics, and highlight the health and risks through leading indicators. Identify, track and address the high-impact and prioritized test coverage gaps in the product streams. Focus on continuous improvement in all aspects of testing (design, planning and execution) to bring in testing efficiencies and meet overall product quality goals. Provide technical leadership to the team. Work towards improving technical skills and abilities of team members, develop a sense of ownership, and accountability, create opportunities for learning and align the team to Quality vision. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve the strategic goals for the project. Hiring, retaining and engaging talent. We d love to hear from you, if you: Have 8-10 years of work experience, with minimum 2 years experience working in enterprise SaaS platform/product (AWS Cloud) and handling SDET team as a Manager. Posses experience in developing and implementation of robust, reliable cross-functional test automation frameworks for Enterprise SaaS platform/product. Have experience in driving and establishing REST API and Microservices testing strategies and engineering practices. Are experienced in defining, planning and executing non-functional test strategy (Performance, Security) . Possess a Testing mindset: Test-to-fail mindset, Test Planning, Test strategy; Are experienced in cloud Technologies like AWS cloud, Microservices and Event Driven Architecture, Messaging brokers (Kafka/RabbitMQ/AWS SQS/SNS), Serverless (Lambda) Acquire programming and automation: OOPs concepts, Data structures, Algorithms. Are hands-on Golang/Python/Java and able to write clean and modular code, develop test harnesses/tools Get hold of performance Testing frameworks/tools: Locust/Gatling/Goose, Flood, Blazemeter. Worked on observability and monitoring tools like DataDog, SumoLogic Have hands-on experience in Docker, Kubernetes Possess excellent written and oral communication skills. Having test data modelling and design experience would be a plus. Having experience in the successful implementation of TDD [Test Driven Development] is good to have.
