Technical Skills: 8 to 12 years of experience in Quality Assurance Should have at least 1-2 years of Software development experience Passion for delivering high quality products Excellent Customer Orientation and communication Hands on testing experience with web applications. Sound knowledge of networking and web application concepts Proven track record as a team lead / manager Extensive hands-on experience in Manual and Automated testing Strong prior experience in QA technologies like Selenium, JUnit, TestNG or equivalent Good expertise on API, Performance and Mobile testing Behavioral Skills: Able to lead through influence and inspire passion in others Excellent communication skills (Spoken and written) Personal track record of process improvement / re-engineering Able to conduct research into project-related issues and products Detailed orientated with excellent problem-solving and problem-identifying skills Ability to meet tight deadlines and adapt to changing priorities Leadership qualities, including meeting facilitation, time management, organizational skills and ability to influence others Role and Responsibilities: Provide high quality technical guidance to a motivated, competent team ofQA engineers. This team is already skilled with a number of automation tools and technologies Your responsibility would be to expand on these skills and help choose the right tools and technologies for a job at hand Improve development and deployment practices around QA tools. Guide the team to maintain a Jenkins and test node cluster in top shape Guide the team to improve reliability of automated test suites You would be managing teams providing QA services to offshore clients as well as QA team for internal projects Manage hiring/recruitment, resource allocation across QA teams Track resource allocation, prepare weekly/monthly timesheets for customer. Provide these details to accounts for invoicing Identify training needs, work with HR and Management to set up training sessions and conduct some on your own Conduct regular skill assessments, one-on-ones with individual employees to identify strengths and weaknesses, training needs Work with the Management and team leads to improve QA policies and standards Provide inputs to the QA team for improving the usability and quality of such tools Liaise with the customer on a regular basis to identify changing customer needs, improvement opportunities, convey the teams progress and achievements Educational Qualification: Bachelor's degree (Engineering, Computer Science) Master's degree preferred Certified Scrum Master Preferred
