What You ll Be Doing:
Be part of core EDW team engaged in designing and developing newdatawarehouse applications on top of current EDWBI Platform.
Play a lead role in enhancing current EDWBI platform by adding new features based on continuous improvement of NCH source systems.
Daily monitoring ofdataload processes to identify holes indata, collaborate with other team members across IT, Operations, and business functions to design and implementdataquality improvement approaches.
Lead technology improvement activities to ensure continuous enhancements of core EDWBI platform
Support ad-hocdatarequests from internal/external clients for business continuity and ad-hoc analytics.
Provide maintenance support to existing EDWBI applications and reports.
Conduct presentations of the work where requested and participate in knowledge sharing sessions with others on the team
Review code of other developers on the team to adhere to current EDWBI coding standard.
Mentor junior developers on the team.
Essential functions:
Minimum 5-9 years hands on experience in ETL development,DataWarehousing,DataModeling, and building BI reports in SSRS or Tableau.
Expert level T-SQL experience in writing/maintaining stored procedures and complex queries.
Expert level Integration Services (SSIS) experience in developing complex ETL processes.
Strong attention to detail, ensuring processes are followed and root cause remediation is planned and executed for each issue, and that actions are fully documented.
Finishing Touches (Preferred):
Healthcare industry experience with exposure to claims and patient clinicaldata
Experience with MS MasterDataServices(MDS) and MSDataQuality Services(DQS) tools will be a plus.
Experience with C#, .NET and VB scripting will be a plus.
Experience in performance tuningdatabases and SQL statements
Expert level SSRS (reporting services) experience to develop and support operational reports
Intermediate level SSAS (analysis services) experience to develop and support SSAS cubes.
Experience withDatavisualization tools like Tableau or PowerBI will be a plus
BA/BS inEngineering, Computer Science, or related field.
