Contract to hire for Network engineer with MNC _Chennai

Location - Chennai(Hybrid)

Shift - Rotational Shift

NP-Immediate joiner, Maximum 15 days.

JD Attached:

Responsible for the standardization and compliance of Firewall and VPN routers. Good experience in troubleshooting firewall related technologies. Must quickly solve problems, by liaising with affected stakeholders, identifying the problem, devising a solution, and implementing the fix.

Minimizing IT outages by constant upkeep of the network infrastructure. Responsible for hardware upgrades, IOS upgrades, patch upgrades and other maintenance tasks.

Understanding of application flows, Cloud connectivity, packet capture packet tracing etc. Customer focused, Lead implementation meetings, coordinate with other internal team to resolve issues quickly and build strong working relationships.

Diligently follow change management process, Problem management process and participate in Change Control Board meetings to seek approvals.

Accurate documentation of the work, prioritizing requests and tasks, stay organized to keep on top of all tasks.

Researches, recommends, and implements changes to enhance systems security.

Hands-on experience in networking, routing, switching and firewall.

Should have strong experience on troubleshooting, designing, and building data communication networks.

Should have experience with DC migrations and Network Architecture designing.

Should have experience on handling network related critical incidents and timing resolution.

Proven experience with Meraki Wireless products.

Should have experience SD-WAN products and MPLS migrations.

Should have experience with Cisco Catalyst switches, Stack chassis and Nexus.

Should have knowledge on SIEM, Compliance and vulnerability management tools

Experience with high-end cisco routers, Switches

Troubleshoot complex customer network issues (LAN & WAN) and provide corrective actions to restore the customer services

Hands on experience on WLC (controllers)and Access Points.

Assist in creation of Root Cause analysis (RCA)

Good experience in Site to Site, IPSEC-VPN, SSL-VPN, NAT,GRE, LAN & WAN Technologies with strong understanding of IKE and SSL communications.

Willingness to work in 24*7 environment

Note Candidate must have good exposure to CISCO Switches & Firewall.
