It Infrastructure Analyst - Network Services (l3) Job in Mott Macdonald Group Ltd

Candidate Specification

Formal Education & Certification:

• University degree or diploma
• ITIL v3 Foundation Certification
• Cisco CCNA/CCNP knowledge is Desirable
• Microsoft, Citrix and/or any type of Network Certification is Desirable
• CheckPoint, Cisco or Fortigate Firewall Certification is Desirable

• Network Infrastructure (WAN/LAN/VOIP/MPLS/SIP)
  
• Data Centre & Server Room Infrastructures knowledge is Desirable
• CheckPoint. Fortigate, Barracude, Cisco & Cisco Meraki Firewall technologies
• Knowledge on cloud based proxies like Zscaler Internet Access is desirable
• MPLS & VPN Links (especially IPSEC LAN, LAN VPNs)
• Remote Access services (Windows VPN, Direct Access etc)
• Excellent knowledge of LAN Switching and TCPIP (including DHCP, DNS)
• Excellent Windows Operating Systems Network Knowledge
• Experience troubleshooting and diagnosing network issues on cloud based services

• Minimum of 7 years experience in Network & Access environment.
• Experience working in an ITIL environment
• Ability and experience of working across diversity of BU divisions and IT functions

• Excellent spoken and written English skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills and communication
• Ability to think logically, analyse situations, solve technical problems
• Ability to manage and prioritise tasks and activities with minimum supervision
• Logical and methodical approach to problem solving
• Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the business
• Managing internal / external relationships
