Job Summary

Job Description

  • Serves customers by identifying their needs and engineering adaptations of their application, products or services.
  • Identifies current and future customer service requirements by establishing personal rapport with potential and actual customers and others in a position to understand service requirements.
  • Establishes new accounts and services accounts by identifying potential customers and planning and organizing sales call schedule.
  • Must be able to get the advance booking and develop a demand Pipeline of at least 6 months in advance for the priority customers.
  • Must be proactive in collecting the outstanding dues and the payments from the customer.
  • Prepare and deliver technical presentations to the customers and understanding their requirement and suggesting the right and cost-effective solutions
  • Collaborate with supply chain team and accounts team to release the required material as per the Purchase order.
  • Adherence to Sales Policy and material rejection policy is most important.
  • Traveling to the potential customers and building a strong personal reference is must for this job


Qualifications and other skills:

The Candidate must :
  • Have an engineering degree in Electronic/instrumentation Engineering from a recognised university.
  • The candidate should have minimum 5 years of relevant experience into technical sales and should have good understanding of Electronic Components.
  • Candidate from an Electronic Component distribution background shall be preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent presentation and creativity skills
  • Willingness to travel
