Quality Analyst

This is an exciting opportunity to be associated with fast paced rapidly growing and hybrid technology at Mediology. We are looking for motivated Quality Analyst, who is passionate about technology and have extensive experience in Quality control and Assurance along with excellent team leadership and coordination skills to drive their teams to success. This is a vital role in establishing processes and standards and ensure that QA team adheres to the guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Create and execute test plans and test cases to find bugs and usability.
• Log and report issues to development team.
• Help troubleshoot issues with developers & UAT with clients.
• Monitoring of all the QA activities, test results, leaked defects, root cause analysis and identifying areas of improvement. Implement steps required to improve the processes.
• Gather and present testing metrics and testing activities for the projects to key stakeholders.
• Escalate unresolved issues for suitable customer support level.
• Offer continuous improvement by assessing customer issues for root cause and future prevention.
• Investigate and explore upcoming new technologies and suggest for enhancements.
• Manage training and continuous learning of QA team members by means of short courses, conferences, meetups, certifications, etc.

Skills Technical

• Good understanding of testing methodologies and concepts
• Experienced in working Agile environment
• Experience on cross browser tools and automation tools
• Examine bug reports and prioritize test cases
• Experienced in web, mobile web technologies and mobile apps
• Experience on Functional, regression and UI Testing
• Good understanding of api testing
• Experience on Sql queries
• Experience on Defect management tools

Non-technical Skills

• QA Management experience across multiple projects, offshore and in-house.
• Be a strong leader with experience in implementing and shaping the company s QA processes and strategies.
• Strong communication skills with all the key stakeholders to ensure QA vision is understood and implemented correctly.
• Excellent knowledge of Risk Management, Risk Identification and Risked Based Testing.
• Flexible with the ability to and work under pressure.
• Proactive, strong-minded, quick thinker and assertive.
• Excellent communicator, influencing skills and negotiation skills to get management buy-in on ideas and concepts.
• Providing leadership
• The ability to prioritize work and tasks under pressure.
• Ability to handle conflict effectively.

Educational Qualifications

• Computer Science Engineering / MCA / B.E./B.Tech
