The Role:

The Senior Developer, Digital Platforms is a senior technical professional in the Business Application Services team focused on developing on Acquia/Drupal Platform. As a Senior Acquia/Drupal Developer, you will leverage your deep front end development knowledge and hands on experience to lead design, development and implementation, drive development best practices, provide thought leadership and participate in all aspects of the software development lifecycle, which includes estimation, technical design, implementation, documentation, testing, deployment and support. You will be working closely work with other team members in a scrum team environment to deliver high quality user-facing features on FireEye s digital platforms. The ideal candidate is seasoned developer and work collaboratively with a development team. Must be happy in a highly team-oriented environment where collaboration between developers and across teams is common.

Responsibilities:

Lead design, development, and implementation of Acquia Cloud platform.

Participate in all phases of software development lifecycle, including requirement gathering, technical design and planning, story grooming and estimation, developing, documentation, testing, deployment, and support.

Provide thought leadership and technical support in architectural design, development and continual improvement of the software and development process.

Work with Business and developers to ensure the implementation align with requirement

Demonstrate ability to adapt and work with team members of various experience levels.

• Prepares, prototypes and project tasks, creating estimates and setting priorities.
• Develops workflows, processes, modules and themes for assigned projects.
• Establishes best practices and mitigates security issues as necessary
• Develops and maintains web sites and web applications for larger and more complex projects.
• Writes, tests and debugs code in writing maintainable, scalable and security focused code.
• Communicates with internal teams and provides updates and status reports on technical timelines, requirements, etc.

Communication skills. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written across all user levels. Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements.
