Job Summary COMMUNICATIONS EXCHANGE1. Reporting to: BIM Production Manager & BIM Coordinators. 2. Teamwork with: Other disciplines BIM/CAD Team Leads. 3. Supervising: BIM/CAD Modelers.RESPONSIBILITIES1. Assign tasks for BIM/CAD Modelers based on project delivery schedule and client requirement received through onsite team (BIM Coordinators and BIM Engineers). 2. Create, maintain, amend and manage BIM models of the speci ed discipline to ensure healthy BIM models and database.3. The ability to understand, interpret all project-related documents (e.g. speci cations, design details and material cut sheets), transform the information to 3D modeling, 2D detailing & other nongraphicalinformation and incorporate them into the BIM Models. 4. Review all deliverables including 3D models, 2D drawings, schedules, clash reports, BOQs and other required documents against the project speci cations, design details and material submittals before sending the same to onsite team for review. 5. Create and develop Revit Families as per project speci cations and material submittals. 6. Collaborate with other disciplines in multidisciplinary 3D coordination, agree on the coordination rules & space assessment to ultimately reach zero-clash models. 7. Ensure LOD of models prescribed in the BIM Execution Plan.8.Ensure timely signoff for each deliverable. 9. Supervise BIM Modelers and ensure that they are doing their work properly. 10. Assist BIM team in deploying project-templates on speci c projects and ensuring team11. Manage BIM requirements, deliverables and distribute coordinated digital documents to the onsite team. 12. Conducting Clash-detection and con ict resolution. Coaching each discipline on leveraging Clash-detection tools on their own discipline to proactively build and design in a smart fashion. 13. Study project design material (Drawings, Models, Specs, Calculations, RFI s ) and address all design issues (missing info, discrepancies, ) to onsite team for advice with all required reports and supportive documents. 14. Study client/onsite team responses on RFI s or Queries and update the model accordingly. 15. Review all comments received from onsite team and assign the required tasks to the team and ensure the full compliance with onsite team comments on timely manners before resending the same to onsite team for nal review. 16. Prepare nal submission set with required logs for client submission.1SOFTWAREA. Implement and utilize Revit Add-ons to BIM/CAD Modelers to increase productivity. B. Stay informed on best practices for use of Revit/CAD and BIM workflows.Experience: -Minimum 5+ years of experience in executing BIM using Revit & CAD for Middle East construction projects.-Software proficiency in Autocad,Revit,Navisworks,Dynamo etc.Education:BE/B.Tech in Electrical trades and disciplines.
