Job Summary

Key Roles & Responsibilities :

1. Process
Document and standardize data and metrics generation/verification procedures and processes
Providing technical advisory services to clients
Technical support for tendering
Maintains customer satisfaction by investigating concerns, implementing corrective action, and communication with staff; providing customer feedback
Diagnose problems with solar electrical components via analyses of data and performance, troubleshooting, and equipment inspections
Lead and conduct internal failure analysis and the RCA process, working closely with Operations and Asset Management personnel
Work with OEM, component manufacturers and other industry resources to address component problems and improvement opportunities. Also preparing the data base for alternative solutions/components.
Develop solutions to component problems pertaining to design details, manufacturing and supplier details, and parts and sub-component considerations
Investigate underperformance issues and develop effective solutions
Provide implementation recommendations and support to Central Maintenance Department regarding component servicing, repair, replacement, and retrofit solutions including work instruction development, preliminary BOM, and preliminary planning
Review safety and quality aspects of component repair and replacement as necessary
Engineering activities for Localization, Alternate source development of the corresponding products.
Preparation of PVSyst Reports & Creation & changes of .OND files for Central & String Inverters.
Preparing reports/Technical Notes/ presentations/Procedures for Inverters, benchmarking reports against all products
Act as point of first reference for all Inverter related enquiries and work collaboratively with service/maintenance colleagues in Clinical Research and Regulatory to address any issues that may arise
Responsible to maintain individual plant MTTR, MTBF and UP time guarantee as committed through PAN India service team

Experience :
10 + Years of Experience (Min. 6 Years in Inverter Service/repairs)
Exposure to Technology / Energy / IT / Change Management preferable
Experience in Start-Ups and / or Driving technology preferable
Exposure to working across geographically spread teams including International locations preferable

Critical Skills :
Solar Inverter Service and repairs
Field Testing Wind and Solar Domains
Change Management
Data Analytics and Lean Management processes
Business Process Reengineering, Value Engineering, Lean, Six Sigma, Quality Management
Wind and Solar Resource Assessment & Simulations


Qualification :

Education Qualification / Additional Certifications :
B.E. / B.Tech (Electrical Engg / Electronics Engg)
MBA (Operations) preferable

Experience Required :

Minimum 10 Years
