Role Summary Senior Analyst SAP MDG will be leading a Magna s initiatives in Master Data Domains primarily working with multifunctional, globally distributed team of internal experts, project managers, consultants and also with division users with core mission to streamline various master data domains like suppliers, customers, organizational hierarchies etc, improve data quality and ensure data governance. To be successful in this role you need a deep understanding of SAP MDG, data governance and best practices. Having the ability to translate vague and high-level business use cases into detailed technical implementations. Key Responsibilities Lead, advise business process improvements on SAP MDG initiatives and support new rollouts Handle day to day helpdesk tickets, analyze root cause of issues and address it in timely manner, train business users, manage defined SLA s. Move easily between big picture thinking and managing relevant detail. Anticipate stakeholder needs, and develop and discuss potential solutions, even before the stakeholder realises, they are required. Contribute technical knowledge in area of specialism. Navigate the complexities of cross-border and/or diverse teams and engagements. Initiate and lead open conversations with teams, clients and stakeholders to build trust. Knowledge and Education Bachelor s degree in IT or equivalent work experience. Work Experience Functional/technical proficiency with at lest 3+ full life cycle SAP MDG implementation and 8+ years of overall IT experience preferable in Master Data Management area. Master level functional knowledge in Vendor master, Customer master, Business Partner master data, BP Data Model in SAP MDG/S4HANA Key Qualifications/Requirements Exposure in working with MDG9.0/9.1/9.2 on S4HANA and Fiori is preferable. Experience with SAP MM, FI, SD and SPRO configuration is preferred. Strong knowledge of ABAP OO programming, MDG, ABAP Floor Plan Manager (FPM), ABAP Workflow, ABAP WebDynpro, SOA configuration, Webservices. Worked extensively in UI adjustments, experience with BRF+, field validation and derivations, data modeling. Experience with Power BI, other development tools, technologies and best practices around various master data domains is preferred. Technical, creative, and functional ability to guide technical team members to efficiently build solutions and perform troubleshooting and resolution activities to support the completion of deliverables in a fast-paced environment. Strong understanding of BI Solutions/Analytics delivery methodology. Strong communication skills. The candidate will be dealing with a multi-regional team and communicating with high level stakeholders. Ability to lead team of consultants and should have played team lead role in his/her prior assignments
