Job Summary

Opportunity to utilise your expertise as a Test Manger and join the FMG Projects and Change Team to support the delivery of the various initiatives in the mandatory projects portfolio.In this role you ll have plenty of opportunities to use your initiative as you ll play a pivotal role in testing.

We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced test manager to work on initiatives driven by regulatory requirements.

  • Using your strong background in defining test strategies & plans for large to medium scale projects, you will be key in ensuring the system build is line with business requirements and defects if any are duly reported, managed, and resolved.
  • Work in finance processes, systems and data.
  • Working as part of a large team and collaborating with business, data, and technology teams, you will be responsible for the development and execution of the project s test strategies.
  • You will be required to identify the scope of testing, collaboration with business SMEs for test case preparation, performing hands on testing and match outputs against the expected results.
  • You are required to demonstrate a good understanding and working experience on data testing. You should be able to provide solutions on extraction, updation and analysis of data using SQL and pivots. Should have driven testing of data migration or databases.
  • Additionally, you will be required to define project testing metrics, maintain ongoing communication with stakeholders and instil confidence about the progress.
  • You need to have essential people management skills including empowering employees, active listening, conflict resolution, flexibility, and clear communication to manage your team.
  • You will be required to perform effective stakeholder management including driving UAT, updating status and high lightening risks.

Detailed Role & Responsibilities

  • Definingthe scope of testing within the context of each release / delivery
  • Deployingandmanagingresources for testing
  • Understand the testing effort by analysing the requirements of project.
  • Define and implement Test Strategy
  • Develop the test plan for the tasks, dependencies and participants required to mitigate the risks to system quality and obtain stakeholder support for this plan.
  • Assign task to all Testing Team members and ensure that all of them have sufficient work in the project.
  • Resolve technical issues for testing team and guide team on technical / SQL solutions.
  • Ensure content and structure of all Testing documents / artifacts is documented and maintained.
  • Document, implement, monitor, and enforce all processes for testing as per standards defined by Testing COE Project and Change team.
  • Check / Review the Test Cases in Jira.
  • Keep track of the new requirements / change in requirements of the Project in Jira.
  • Escalate the issues about project requirements to Project Manager / Sr. Test Manager.
  • Organize the status meetings and send the Status Report (Daily, Weekly etc.) to stakeholders.
  • Track and prepare the report of testing activities like test testing results, test case coverage, required resources, defects discovered and their status, performance baselines etc.
  • Review various reports prepared by Test Analysts.
  • Ensure the timely delivery of different testing milestones.
  • Applyingthe appropriate test measurements and metrics in the project and the Testing Team
  • Planning,deployingandmanagingthe testing effort for any given engagement.
