We have an opportunity for a talented Executive/ orAssistant Manager to join our Group Treasury Funds Transfer Pricing team. The team is responsible for setting the price of funding for each of our diverse businesses and manage the costs associated with a pool of funding raised by Group Treasury. The team advises on the value of market issuance opportunities and assists in the development of policies that will shape the outcome of business activities. As part of Group Treasury, the team provides recommendations and insights to support key strategic decisions by senior management.
Within this team, you will be exposed to the inner-workings of an international financial group. You will have the opportunity to work with members of senior management.
You will be responsible for recommendations on the setting of funds transfer pricing rates and other charging frameworks and advising on the value of market issuance opportunities as they arise. You will be responsible for development of models and analysis that will assist with senior management decision making. You will be responsible for producing presentations for submission to the Asset and Liability Committee. You will partner with other teams to align business and funding opportunities and work closely with teams within the Financial Management Group to ensure that advice to businesses is accurate and consistent.
To be successful in this role you will have a post-graduate degree such as CA with 2-6 years of Post Qualification experience, CPA or MBA with 4-8 years of post-graduate experience in financial services with experience in balance sheet management roles an added advantage. You will have the ability to understand and succinctly explain complex data and have clear and concise written and verbal communication skills. You will have experience advising and collaborating with staff and senior management in their decision-making processes and commercial acumen. You will have an excellent eye for detail with the ability and desire to investigate deeper when required; and strong understanding of transfer pricing and treasury issues would be an advantage.
