Application Support Engineer Job in Luxoft Pune

Project Description We've been engaged by a large Australian company to provide resources to their Murex FRTB/ VaR implementation. We require Senior Application Support with knowledge of the capital market and exposure to VaR/ Risks. Responsibilities Resolve production incidents in a smooth and timely manner with minimal impact to business Put in controls and checks in place to monitor and smooth the functioning of production systems Investigate and understand the cause of defects raised. Stakeholder relationships across all groups within the Bank ensuring alignment to common objectives and fulfillment of criteria and requirements across the various businesses and units. Member of the development/ implementation team (including off-shore) working on assigned tasks, projects, and it initiatives. Interacts with members and other functional teams including members of the offshore team Work with team members participating in shadowing and training activities Adhere to information controls and security frameworks/ procedures, including change and incident management process Provide general administrative support to the team including meetings, knowledge transfer and activity reporting Candidate is expected to work in extended hours (shifts & weekends) on the need basis. Demonstrate a functional acumen to support how solutions will address client goals while maintaining alignment with industry best practices. Day-to-day delivery and support of key treasury systems/initiatives Work efficiently and prioritize system enhancement/upgrades Skills Must have 4+ years of experience in a similar role with concrete evidence of working on complex end-to-end systems implementations of Programs. First-hand experience with Windows servers, Linux, and SQL. Having experience in Batch monitoring. Control -M or any scheduling tool Superior technical, analytical, and communication capabilities. Current on new technology, standards, protocols, and tools in areas relevant to the rapidly changing digital environment. Well-versed in digital technologies, automation, environment support, and key technology/vendor solutions. Exposure to capital market experience, especially in VaR and Market Risk Nice to have Use of or knowledge of automation tools like Automation Anywhere or IP Center a plus
