Job Summary
The incumbent needs to have a sense of fashion_x009d_, trend setting and be responsible for giving new creative dimensions and innovative approach to the category.
Responsible for managing relationships, selection and inventory health for the portfolio assigned.
Working on developing the Pricing Strategy for the category with focus on key financial metrics.
This role requires to work along cross-functional teams (Merchandising/ Operations/ Warehouse etc.) to create success. S/he should be able to seamlessly navigate these relationship dynamics in a high growth, young, agile business environment.
The role is required to drive specific performance metrics and would be accountable to drive data-driven decision making.
The role is required to deliver on daily numbers, short-term goals and long term strategy set by business for the Eyewear Category. Meeting these milestones would be critical to create success.
Competencies Required For Success :Ability to work in a high growth environmentAnalytical Problem Solving & Number CrunchingSelf-starterAgilityExtroversion Candidate Profile :5 - 9 years of experience (Indicative). Demonstrated entrepreneurial experience of running categories in dynamic, fast-growth environments.Ability to set/ predict Fashion trends is critical for this role. Experience around working with fashion categories preferred.Proven track record of scale-up and contributing to the revenue numbers.Understanding and ability to contribute to the various performance metrics (User/ Vendor/ Inventory/ Invoicing) across both online and offline channels.A blue chip educational pedigree.

The Category Manager will be driving the profitability of the category across both online and offline channels.
This is a strategic role and requires elevated sense of business acumen and fashion sensibilities.
